The closest scenario I can see that would relate to what I am trying to accomplish would be how to visit a separate town on Animal Crossing, but that is just a guess on my end. I have also tried using the search feature here for previous folks experiencing this, but have not had any luck in resolving this question. I also tried creating a character on a GCI file, moving it out of the directory, then moving it back after creating a new character on the fresh GCI file created upon startup. I did try the options within the emulator settings but to no avail. I am looking to recreate this experience and allow my family to have additional slots to create multiple character on. You also had the option of playing in split screen with someone else's characters if they plugged in their memory card into the second slot. The save file for these slots is created when you first start up without any previous PSO data on the associated memory card. Specifically, I am looking to see if there is a way I can have the game register memory cards or GCIs in both slots to allow me to create 8 separate characters and/or move the character between devices.Īs background information, when originally playing this game on the Gamecube, you are given 4 separate character slots on a Memory Card to play with.
